Well. I read the rules, and while I know this topic will turn to spam maybe just maybe it will get read by people with serious thoughts first...
So I read the rules posted here... Never found a specific list posted in the game anywhere...
So I've got a few questions and I'm not hesitating to ask,
1) Well are there warnings? Or is it outright ban for breaking the rules? Perhaps blinding for x amount of hours? Or a mute? Because it seems to me... The GM's have no idea what they're doing and all judge punishments on a different level...
So give me a response as to what breaking each rule gets...
I mean if I'm a newb I go into a village and kill the guy standing there... I'm getting banned for spam killing if the rules aren't posted in the open...? Or even posted on the byond game page? Seems a bit outrageous...
"3. No racist, prejudice or offensive comments.
4. No sexual comments.
5. No offensive comment containing profane."
Now I am pretty sure I wont get any decisive action here... But pertaining to those rules... ***I*** have found that I get punished for them, I was muted AND blinded for approximately 4 hours... All because there was a discussion about Fudge being filter evasion if used in the wrong context,
I jokingly asked if that meant saying, Fudge You is what was meant by context... And Nara Kageri(?? Spelled wrong? Right? Maybe? I don't care...)
Muted me blinded me and said yes. =/
Yet if someone sits on the game for the better half of an hour typing, Fu.ck or calling someone a whore... No one does a damn thing.
Prejudice? Elitist? Pretty messed up?
So what are the *exact* punishments supposed to be? Why is it the mute says for 5 minutes... Yet I'm not unmuted after?
What determines how long I'm supposed to be blinded for?
And lastly probably the one that will give me the most flack, but it NEEDS to be asked,
(Mind you I read the post by Moleboy... And his elaboration on these punishments seems far more evolved.. But in the same respect I'm lead to wonder why the GM's don't seem to be following these guidelines...)
ANYWAYS. What I was going to ask is, AFK training. I'm curious as to the punishment... It seems to be a boot. Which clearly is the most obvious solution. But I still see nothing. And well I've noticed there are tons of different solutions really based on the GM who's online and see's the complaint.
I don't care if you think it's wrong or anything. If you're not a GM or someone who really has any say... Well your opinion will go in one ear and out the other.
I want to know every possible punishment so I can start calling these "Moderators" if you can call them that. On there judgements of players wrong doings.
Mind you I don't think they're all bad at what they've been assigned to do. But some clearly don't give the slightest care about the game... And well I don't think that's very useful for someone with a position of power...
And the spam... Well thats pretty gross. Constant reposts of things that have been said days ago? Just a tip for you spammers... It's not cute or funny... It's just annoying.
But like I said. I'm curious as to all the specifics... So someone who truly honestly can say "I would let Stego ban my account should I be wrong." it'd be appreciated if you simply listed all the infractions that get punishments up to date... And list the punishment.
I think the game is great, think it's one of the best and most addictive I've played on Byond. But the decision to make certain people GM's from how they act, how they speak, and how they don't even put effort into their ingame duties... It's just sad. If that gets a revamp and the server stops crashing...

lol... I blinded you? are you sure that's me. and I do think Fudge is the F word when you put it in that sentence, If saying other words instead of that word I might as well be a little baby and call you a Flipping Poohead of a Female dog.
Let's see, You probably Spawn/Mass killed firstly, then I blind you, you get in fit of rage, you filter avoid which I mute and you say 5 hours muted right? well the blind bit I probably forget everytime and the mute bit is probably reboot or you relogged.
Nope. Fudge got me muted. Killed someone twice in mist and got the blind...
We discussed this a bit I'm pretty sure you forgot.
But what I'm trying to prove here is that this game lacks in set in stone rules... And most of the GM's seem to do whatever the hell they want.
One will think a blinding should be an hour another will think it should be indeffinate.
And in the same sense, while today I saw this change with Nara... I have noticed that alot of high level spammers and profanity/bad content posters IN game get away with things that most other "newb" players would never get away with.

Thing is, People like Titanic and I Somehow got the ability to not get muted, We just don't show up on the game's Mute list, and I do enjoy watching T.V sometimes so sorry if I don't spend 100% on the computer, and I sometimes forgot to unblind and sometimes people get stuck muted cos they got reboot or relogged.
